To commemorate the first manned lunar landing on July 20, 1969, Google has launched Google Moon, combining Google Maps with NASA-provided lunar imagery. The interface allows one to skim over the lunar surface, with markers for the locations of the Apollo landings. You can even check out the site for Google's "planned" lunar hosting and research center. |
